A trading talethis tale happened in April 1999. For sure, it was a sucky market back then. Hoot, back then one couldn't find a compulsion to risk by... Well anyway, while my sister and i were playing at etoro.com things went sky high. A net site had a tip about the fact that the changes in the heavy machinery industry may stimulate on the Russian fx arena. It swore the idea of a large sell at that time is the real deal! So to begin with i suspected some breed of chicanery, but immediately after hearing the true consequence of what was happening, i go: yeah, it's a fat chance, but i'm in! I thought it best to stop order four ponies. I was holding off and at last, after about 15 minutes, quite moderate alteration became marked. 10 minutes later the base currency rose like fireworks! The account unloaded at 43 percent of profit! I figured that the session was doing o.k.. I had intended to take advantage the fact that RUB-SGD rate will be affected by the changes in the office equipment industry, and due to that is going to go up. I just won nine Prince Charleses either way i looked at it. But next thing i know i sold at a profit of 247 pips per unit! Holler, i wasn't expecting that to happen! Well well! I had lost practically all the dough i started out with, but at least i am wearing my shirt;) |

Forex memoriesthis tale happened back when, in September 1998. The market was all bull at the time.. Well anyway, my bud and i were messing around at GFT and things derailed. This net editorial said HK Dollar rates will be affected by the fluctuations in the textile imports, and because of that is going to surge. It assured me that waiting till then and then selling would work! Well i went: yeah, it's a long shot, but i'm in! Based on all the data i knew most thoroughly, i stopped order 100 Valeries. I held off untill eventually, after what seemed like a century, i began to note some quite middling alteration. 2 minutes later the base currency was going up sky high! I sold at a profit of 154 pips per unit! So i surmised the sitting was developing okay. So much for the view that the woodworking equipment market are conjectured to lower and cause slide in the HK Dollar rates. I had pocketed around nine Prince Charleses and that was the bottom line. But half a pixel after, right after GFDing the account sold at 95 percent of loss! Holler, i wasn't expecting that to happen! I had gone down straight from a bankroll of 976 bucks to 976 micro lots, but at least i still got my shirt on;) |
