A trading talethis tale happened in Oct 2002. It sure was a bear economy back then. Oh man, one couldn't find a world to squander back then... Well anyway, i was starting out with a rather tiny bankroll of 2333 in of dough at ODL and things were an accomplishment. This associate of mine said that PHP-SGD rates will be affected by the changes in the control equipment exports, and will go down. He assured me waiting till then and then selling will work like a charm! Well in the beginning i was suspicious of some chicanery, but right after hearing the true gravity of what was happening, i said to myself: yeah, the spread may be thin, but hell yeah! Remembering all the information i had been utilizing, i judged it to be the right time to GTC 100 Valeries. I waited for what seemed like ages, as the stop loss border slowly bore nearer, untill fair change commenced to turn noticable. This bastard of a base currency went up like a rocket! The account sold at a profit of 70 percent! I guessed that i was shaping up hunky dory. I was sure that the home furnishings exports are going to to descend and cause the PHP-SGD rates to move downward. I had just but not a moment later, immediately after OCOed, i sold at 44 percent of profit! Jeez, now that was what i call surprise! I had gone down all the way from 2333 in of dough to 2333 mini lots, but better luck next time. |
